ABOUT HFL
Hyderabad Football League - the biggest football league in the city, has completed 9 successful years so far, with 900+ players taking part during the same. The league has been growing by the season and raising interest in the game of football.
The aim of HFL is to give an opportunity to all the talented players in the city to play and showcase their skills in a league that is professionally run and gives them the opportunity to play with and against the best players from Hyderabad. HFL uses the existing infrastructure i.e., all the good 5-a-side and 11-a-side football grounds across the city. Thus, creating a good football ecosystem. HFL has used 14 grounds across the city, in the previous four seasons and there will be more grounds added to the list this season.
HFL partnered with the ISL Club - Hyderabad FC to promote football in the city through multiple tournaments for rookies and women, called the HFL - Rookies Cup and HFL - Women's.
Murad Jasani
The brains behind the whole conceptualisation of the league is an ardent Manchester United fan and has a Masters in Accounting from Central Queensland University, Australia. His vision is to create such leagues in 8 more cities in the country to provide platform to all budding footballers of the nation.
Adil Mistry
Adil left his job in an MNC to do something for his passion for sports. The tech guy of the team, graduated top of his class in MBA (Sports Management) from Symbiosis
University. He handles the back-end operations, including digital media and is an Arsenal fan.
